Android Japanese Apps
You see some apps when you visit the Android market, yet there is not much information given which are the best or more suited to your level. Which apps have/do you use on your Android or iPhone device? What do you like or hate about that particular one? etc... One complaint I have about Android is the lack of a preinstalled optional Japanese IME. It is coming in the future.

Re: Android Japanese Apps
Simeji works well for me for the ime, there are 2 ways to use it, i usually flip it sideways and you can use it more like a roman keyboard, or their odd directional thing if you prefer, with the phone upright ( I never use it like that )
AEdict is nice, can write a character for lookup too, a WWWJDIC app.
I have ankidroid too but use it less often these days.

Re: Android Japanese Apps
I'm a huge fan of the WWWJDIC app mainly because of it's OCR kanji recognition.
The one that ignores stroke order is a little sketchy but the one that considers stroke order is right nearly all the time!
I have tried the picture mode too using the camera and it was cool but the novelty wore off real fast.
Google Translator from Japanese to English, using voice recognition, is great sometimes. If I hear a word I don't know I can try to voice it out just as I heard it and sometimes it works nicely!
