Yeah, I'm new and am a beginner (posted in my blog about my level), been casually learning for about a month or so now - Native language is English, Yeah.

Spelling mistake, meant to say おっす, I never thought to check (I use Roman letter input).

I'm not sure that おっす is a suitable greeting to use with strangers of both sexes.

Aye, If I'm honest I only know two words like that.... I know it's males that use おっす normally, not sure when it is and isn't used... You're probably right though I don't really get any native interaction I just didn't want to use a greeting I would normally use that was only relevant to a certain time of day... since you could have been reading at any time
, Anyway it's only an introduction.... I'm sure I'll pick up more greetings in time when I speak it more regularly...
