Running two subtitles simultaneously
Are there any programs where I can run two subtitles - English and Japanese - at the same time while watching a video?

Re: Running two subtitles simultaneously
This sounded really interesting to me, so I've been googling a bit to see what I could come up with. This KMPlayer seems to be the solution I keep seeing...

I'm watching a movie with it right now and it seems to work well enough.
It displays the primary subtitle at the bottom and you can choose a second one that it displays at the top of the screen.
I hope this helps!
(For Linux people it looks like there's a script to enable this kind of thing...

It looks like Mac folks might have to jump through some hoops as well to use a Windows app to accomplish this (CyberLink DVD player, or KMPlayer).

Re: Running two subtitles simultaneously
That's the most awesomest media player I've ever downloaded. Thanks so much for the help. But now I need more help... I can't get the two subtitles to work! Only the first one shows, and even though I have loaded the second subtitle, it doesn't appear. I've tried a few different ways I thought it would work, like the 2nd subtitle submenu and making sure the second file was loaded, but still nothing. My only guess is the second subtitle is appearing in the same area as the first one, and therefore being hidden, but I can't tell.
This is an impressive application though. I'm amazed that it's free. There's so many features.

Re: Running two subtitles simultaneously
I made a copy of this post on my little hobby forum that included some pictures.
http://nnb.me/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32& ... ilit=#p118
It seems to work fine and not have any problem showing the subs in the correct places, and even more advanced placement when multiple people are speaking at once, as you can see from the pics.
Maybe if you PM me the info one which video you're trying to work with maybe I can try it out and see if I can figure out the problem?
