相談すること

Post by Cyborg Ninja » Sun 06.26.2011 2:09 am

Does the verb そうだんをする mean you are consulting someone, or they are consulting you? Are these sentences correct:

私はあの人に相談しました。
あの人は私に相談させました。

The subject of the sentence is consulting the other. 私は友達に相談をした。 I consulted my friend/ asked my friend for advice.

When you want to use the subject as the one being consulted rather than the one doing the consulting you can use the phrase 「相談にのる」ex. 私が彼の相談にのった。 I gave him advice.
そうだ、嬉しいんだ、生きる喜び!
例え胸の傷が痛んでも。

Not a whole lot to explain. It just means to give advice to someone. 友達の相談にのった I gave my friend some advice.

You can use it to request advice as well: ちょっと相談にのってくれるかな? I wondered if you could give me some advice?

Sometimes it's written in Hiragana: のる and sometimes with kanji:乗る
そうだ、嬉しいんだ、生きる喜び!
例え胸の傷が痛んでも。
