描く: かく or えがく?
Just curious: when do you read 描く as かく and when as えがく? Is the え really just an invisible 絵 added for clarity? If so, I'd imagine that you might read it as えがく in something like:
But never in something like 「絵を描くのが好き」. Is that pretty much it?
「何してる?」 「描いてる」

They use Kaku for both write and draw. Egaku isn't used as much. so, 何してる? 描いてる is Kaiteru
Egaku is used in an abstract sense as well. 夢を描く (egaku) for instance.
