Free streaming NHK broadcasts.

You can watch them there at 720x404 resolution. The first link has the streaming link on the upper right hand side (choose the highest bitrate for the largest resolution, which will open in a new window. The lower 2 open right in the same spot on the page).
NHK offers a lot of great shows for those interested in Japanese news and culture, from history through modern day news.
