N1 study group
Hi everyone
assuming there currently isn't an N1 study group going, I'd like to ask if there is anyone out there interested. Even just one other person to study with would be great. I'm actually taking the exam in December.
Also, if you're not taking the exam, and regardless of whether you feel your level is below or above it, I'd welcome people who are interested in joining in for simply going over the syllabus with me.

My post is a bit late I guess but, I wouldn't mind studying seriously with you, more so than what we usually do in the chat. I have all the time in the world until college starts again in late August and I feel like I need to try to take my Japanese to the next level somehow.

awesomeI'm gonna (finally) order the grammar book today, so when that arrives it should be fun to look at it, there might be a lot of the rare academic stuff you like. In addition to chat I'm almost always logged in as 'away' on skype (in the case where chat is too busy or whatever) anyway see you later

I'd be interested. But how do we meet? Is this in a chat room, or...?

Great! Either just normally in Chat, or since Chat can get crowded sometimes Skype. (if you have skype I can give you my username later.)
Unfortunately I've gone from being completely free for Japanese studies to a little busy with some other stuff, but hopefully we can get down to some studying now and then

Thanks for your posts everyone. Once the new Chat is up and running (currently there is a temporary chat) I will organize when we can meet up

Actually it is up, and you can connect with an XMPP client(Pandion or Pidgin for example) if you don't like to use the webchat

Re: N1 study group
Should I create a room for that so webchat users can join it too? (webchat users can only auto-join rooms specified in the page code.)
EDIT: I went ahead and added an "n1study" room to the webchat.
Join as need be. (chat client users (like Pandion and Pidgin) can create whichever rooms they want, but webchat users can only use the rooms they're auto-joined to when they log in.)
I'd like to add more rooms later but need to work on things like a denshi jisho bot, games bot, etc... and probably create study rooms for that stuff. we'll see.
