Star Trek Japanese recipe. :D

Yes, you read that right.

I was watching an old episode of Star Trek Enterprise and when the chef got sick, Hoshi Sato (the communications officer) recommended they try an old recipe from her grandmother. She pulled it up on the screen and you could see a perfect shot of it.

So... I decided to share it so that we could have some fun figuring out the recipe. :D I even know some of the ingredients, but some of the characters are a bit tricky.

for instance... the line in the middle... is that スープのつくり方 ? Google gave me that last character, and I can kind of see how that might be it, but I certainly wouldn't have guessed it otherwise (someone who knows the kanji/meaning might have... but I'm too newbie). ;)

Further she says that it's a recipe that has been passed down for generations, and later specifically states that it's: That shows some of the various ingredients and give more info on it. :)
