Genki II second edition release date?

I have searched various websites and have not been able to find a release date except "september 2011"....the funny thing is that september 2011 is almost over. Anybody have any inside information on the release date?

From http://bookclub.japantimes.co.jp/en/index.jsp I see September 30th as the release date. That's the best I can come up with.

I've also been waiting for this, I've been checking their store every other day lol, I really want to get started. But as phreadom showed the only date they listed was Sept 30 as publishing date.. Hopefully it's correct.

And I'm sure Clay will have it over at http://www.thejapanshop.com/ shortly. They literally just came out like today... so they're probably still updating things as they're shipping the product to the merchants etc.

It's 2 days after the publishing date (In Japan-time) and they still haven't shipped anything

It's October 4th and I just checked back on Amazon and it now says they don't expect to recieve the book until the 10th or 11th? and that THEN they'll ship it out?

Was this just for me? Has anyone gotten the book?

Got Genki 2 yesterday... Am really excited but want to make sure I'm completely solid in Genki 1 before opening it... Maybe in a week or so

I still don't see Genki II listed on US Amazon or on TheJapanShop. Did you pay an excessive amount for the shipping to get it directly from Japan?

Genki II is now up on US Amazon but with spiked up prices. I will be waiting a little longer for normal prices. Even so, I am glad that US sellers are now finally starting to get the book.

So I started it and am glad that it addresses things I wanted to say but couldnt in the very first chapter or two. @ kam- yes i paid for shipping but its a lot lot cheaper in japan so i actually saved money as well as got it earlier.. Hence why I did it.. Genki 1 is even being sold for 88$ now o.o (amazon). I dont know what amazon is thinking. Im sure the japan shop will sell it for cheaper than that so if u still wish to wait then wait for them not the american amazon.
