たくさん?

Do you have a translation question?

たくさん?

So, studying threw genki 2, I came upon a sentence that confused me right away. Maybe I'm just not looking at it right, I don't know.

So they give us a sentence above a picture, below is a suggestion to the "person". No translations were given. So...

Top sentence:
→ 朝早く起きられないんです。
Bottom sentence (we have to change the ending to ~ば大丈夫ですよ。)
→ 目覚まし時計をたくさん買っておけば大丈夫だよ。

So the top sentence I'm guessing = "I can't wake up early in the morning"

But the bottom I'm thinking.. "if you buy a lot of alarm clocks you'll be fine?"

A lot of alarm clocks doesn't sound too reassuring. Sound.... hehe ^_^

But, that is indeed what it says. I guess for that person, having a lot of alarm clocks is reassuring :p
