Own sentence. Is this correct?

Hi all,

Currently working through the Genki 1 textbook. I try to make up own sentences as often as I can and was just wondering is the following correct for "I study Japanese for one hour a day"?
I know the kanji for わたし, にほんご and いちじ, I've just written it out here for any not familiar with it.

わたしはまいにちにほんごをいちじかんべんきょうします。
