Sayounara Blogs and Shoutbox!

Those two parts of the site are being shut down. They've been removed from the front page of the site to clean things up.

Since the blogs are very low traffic and not really what TJP is about (and since they don't have moderation ability and thus are abused for spam far more often than any valid posting), they're getting the boot. I'll be leaving them up for the moment in case people want to copy down their blog posts etc.

And since we have both the forum itself AND the webchat, there's really not much point for a shoutbox. If people want to leave a message they can leave a comment, post on the forum, pop into the webchat, etc.

I'm going through trying to find ways to make things cleaner and leaner, and these are part of that process.

(Have a look through the first chapter of http://thejapanesepage.com/grammar.htm to get an idea what other pages are going to look more like.)

That's fair enough. I kinda like Shoutbox because its always been there, but I've hardly ever used it, and the space and moderation should be put into better things. Let me know if there's anything I can do!
