What to do after learning Kanji
I´m studying kanji atm, fairly good at hiragana/katakana, just wondering what the next logical step is. Knowing Kanji is good and all but what do I do next to actually learn to read japanese texts?

RE: What to do after learning Kanji
you should have Hiragana and katakana mastered by now if you're studying kanji, now you need to study grammer otherwise kanji and kana mean nothing. I've been reading through everything on this site and it helps so much. I hope that answers your question.
Goals:
1) Have decent proficiency in Japanese, enough to get around/talk/read/write.
2) Visit Japan for a week or so one summer.
