モフモフ ?

Post by phreadom » Wed 12.12.2012 10:14 pm

I saw this in the description for a video that hirata-san shared in the TJP chat a bit ago. Does anyone know the meaning?

I'm guessing from a google search that it's something to do with being cute and fuzzy or something?

I don't see any entry for it in WWWJDIC, but I'm not sure off the top of my head if Jim is including onomatopoeia type words in there if that's what this is... ?

Thank you for any enlightenment you can share!

Refers to thick fur or feathers that trap a lot of air around them and return to their original form after being compressed. Implicitly pleasant to the touch. A similar word is フワフワ

Thanks. I've set up an entry for モフモフ/もふもふ.
