TSU= steal
togi=nursing, nurse, attending, attendant, entertainer
mugi=wheat, barley

This is all I could really find. I got them off a Online Dictonary but I've learned not to trust them much.

Im beginning to think that they just threw a bunch of words together to make it hard to say. That and to counfuse the westerners who don't have enough skill in the Japanese language to decode the sentance and see it has no meaning at all. :D

well...I'm with Sen Goku being the "sengoku jidai" or the "age of the country at war" which is the time Kagome is transported to.

Bushi means warrior

but...as for the overall meaning...I'm sure it's just a bunch of random nonsense that's thrown together to sound funny
They just start with sengoku and change the sound slightly with each word

not quite finished (by a longshot) but i'm leaning towards "carefully the emporer's meal verse-thing ...( sen go-kugo ku)", maybe an odd reading of "gotsu" as 'five+generic-counter'.

there are a lot of things that make it sound like a bunch of grumpy people pounding out grain - THUMP-THUMP, or people polishing/sharpening their weapons. maybe it can even be read multiple ways.

but i know next to nothing about tongue-twisters in japanese and what's allowed or not.
and my ear isn't fine enough to catch any lengthened vowels and the like (a "kuu" would fit really well.) also, i think it might be "sen goku goku goku go ..." but every time i listen i change my mind. :o

So it probably has something to do with war or the time period.....:)

Thats a good start!
