Silly question
I'm full of these... but I got confused over something relatively simple
This is the question:
アメリカでは、年上の人だったら、ファ-ストネ-ムで呼びませんか。
Which I read as- In America, if it's an older person, don't you call them by their first name?
To which I responded- that even if they are older, you call them by their first name...
はい、年上の人でもファ-ストネ-ムで呼びます。
I feel like I may be off...
Thanks in advance.

Re: Silly question
Except that it's not really polite to use first names unless you're acquainted with them well.

Re: Silly question
Why are you typing hyphens instead of long vowel marks? :/
