View topic - How do you say "I'm sunburnt" in Japanese?

Instead of " 日焼けしてしまいました" can you just say "日焼けしました" or something like that?
Yes you can. If you (or the speaker) adds ～てしまいました the sentence becomes more emotive (i.e. regret from the undesirable outcome)
Hmm... that use of the conditional strikes me as a little odd.
I avoided から because (unless perhaps you were asked why you are sunburnt) it sounds to me like going to the sea will unavoidably give you sunburn. たら just sounds like getting sunburnt was the result of their going to the beach.
