I will be posting random sentences for the hell of it and to improve my grammar skills.

Well.... usually when I hear/read 'baka' it's used with the 'no' particle, instead of a topic particle. And I usually hear 'temee' by itself. Literally, it might just mean "you", but it's really rude, so it's sort of like saying "you bastard!"

When insulting someone with a sentence "You are (something)" I only really ever hear "omae" or "kisama" (though, kisama is usually used the same way as temee...)

お前のばか！

I wouldn't use desu here at all.

More colloquial is ばかやろう, which pretty much means "You idiot" "You moron" "dumbass" etc.

Well, temae wa baka desu sounds VERY strange for many reasons, but it is technically OK.

That is the wierdest sentence ever.
Whlie grammatically fine (minus the ha part) you are essentially saying

"HEY ****ER! you're stuuuuuupid."

You start by saying a really strong insult, and follow it up with a kid's word.

Now that I look at it, I'm pretty sure it's てめ, not てまえ. てまえ hasn't been used for a few hundred years, I don't think.

Actually, isn't it てめ instead? At times you'll see it as てめぇ or てめー or てめえ though, just to add some extra flavor to the mix.

Not sure if you're referring to the word or the pronunciation. Surely the word is in recent use, but one *usually* hears "temee" thanks to the Yakuza films in which one is most likely encounter the term.

The annoying thing is that temae can refer to either oneself, or someone else. I *hate* pronouns that can do that.

I definately could be wrong on that, but I was under the impression that てまえ was the antiquated form of てめ. I haven't heard (or seen written) it in the てまえ form, but I may just live a sheltered life.

LOL! Well, however one pronounces it, it's still 手前.

I've just seen the wrong kind of movies. You ever want a mind boggle, check out any of the "トラックやろう" genre of films. They will induce a headache. B)
