Hi from England!

Konichiwa!
I'm 18 years old and have started learning japanese about 4 or 5 days ago actually, I've already learnt all the hiragana characters (all thanks to Tae Kim's amazing website) and have just started learning katakana. I joined this site in the hopes that all you wonderful people will help me on my journey to fluency (which I'm sure will be an extremely long one) and then maybe some day I will be able to help someone in my position.
So yeah, Hi! :) xx

Welcome to TJP ^_^

It's nice to make your acquaintance, since I am also from England and was learning Japanese here and with Tae Kim's guide when I was about your age. (I'm 23 now.)

Please make the most of the resources and make friends with the great people on this site!
