Quick translation for "Happy plants"?

Postby happyhappy » Sat 06.29.2013 9:09 pm

Hello there!

I'm new to the site and just finished reading through the various rule and guideline posts, so hopefully I am not going to screw up on my first post here.

I'd be extremely appreciative if someone could let me know if this is correct and, if not, perhaps offer me the correct translation? Thank you!

I'm hoping this will mean "Happy plant"/"Happy plants" (as in, plants that are happy): "植物幸せ" (Or would it be "植物の幸せ"?)

Thanks very much in advance!
(And I am sorry if I made a mistake or wasn't allowed to ask something like this! )

の Is possessive, so 植物の幸せ would be 'the happiness of plants'

幸せな植物 is my suggestion.

If it's like a kind of slogan you could use katakana-English: ハッピー植物 or something.

EDIT:

I did a quick search and I found that the word 幸福 (happiness, bliss) was used frequently to describe plants. So, 幸福の植物 (plants of happiness - a bit more ambiguous than 'plants that are happy' but if that works for you..)
