Hello, from what everybody is telling me, a text book is perfect for everything. (I think it may be overwhelming) But it can teach alot. What is the best textbook out there that I can order?

Genki is the best generic course. You need the workbook, the textbook, and the CDs. It is also supplemented on their website. It costs a bit up front but should be worth it.
