彼はジェシーの友達でしたか?(ジェシー is カタカナ for jesse)
Would that mean.... "Jesse's was he friend?"

or would the person ask
彼はあなたの友達でしたか？ to make it "Was he your friend" ?

Also as to response to the question would -


彼が友達じゃなかった。
敵の。be

"He was not an friend
he is enemy"

or

彼が友達じゃなかった。
彼が敵だった。

or

彼が僕の友達じゃなかった。
彼が敵だった。

or

are all of these correct? Which one suits the reply -
"He was not my friend.
He was an enemy"

I think its the last one.... But im not sure. Help Greatly Apprecitated.

僕の友達じゃなかった、敵だった。

"彼が" is not necessary and can be omitted as "wasn't a friend" phrase is clear enough to tell us that the person you are referring to wasn't a friend. Unless, of course, you want everyone to know that "HE" wasn't a friend, then you can put in "彼が", as what you had: 彼が僕の友達じゃなかった。敵だった。

The second one is translated more like below, with the He italitized to make sure everyone you told about knows that "He" wasn't a friend. That's what I understand from the "が" in this particular case, basically to emphasize.
彼が友達じゃなかった。
彼が敵だった。
He wasn't a friend. He was the enemy.

I'm not sure how good ur translation is. You can maybe translate longer sentences or something, so ppl can see how good you are.
But, I'm currently too junior in the Japanese language order to comment on your translation skill level.

Well, all your sentences are in past tense which leads me to think that the person that you're talking about is now dead. :/ If that was on purpose, that's fine, but if not, I would consider revising.
