Korean Anyone?
So, just to satify my curiosity, is anyone on here interested in Korean? ^_^ Their alphabet/syllabary is really easy to learn... I was looking through pics of this Korean signer and thought about that.

I like the simplicity and elegance of Hangul. It's fun making those square syllables! hehe A great site to learn is <http://langintro.com/kintro/>. I learned Hangul in less than an hour from that site! B) I haven't gotten grammar down, though. I'm fully concentrated on the two languages I'm studying now (Castilian Spanish and Japanese).

I wouldn't mind studying Korean also. I have heard the grammar is very similar to Japanese and when I hear Korean, it really sounds like Japanese in tone and pronunciation - only I can't understand a word!
冬の?#92;ナタ was a very popular Korean drama last year in Japan. We watch it every Sunday on Satelite. It really sparked an interest in Korea within Japan.

Written Korean is derived from Chinese, and theres alot of "old Japanese" in modern Korean too. I was looking at the Source Kanji for the two Japanese scripts, and I thought: Hey that one looks like Korean!
There are alot of similarities in the languages too, like -san and -chan and the like, though I cant remember the Korean forms at the moment.
I like making the Korean blocks as well, its almost like a word puzzle.

Sounds interesting! Korean sounds fun; though, the only ever language I've tried to learn before is French (got bored, plan on getting back to it sometime). I love Japanese though, for some reason. Korean could be added to my lists of languages to learn.

From what I hear, though... Korean sounds "angry" to a Japanese. I'm not sure how Japanese sounds to a Korean, though.

私ぼ日本語はままですが、私は勉強です。。。そして、私のしはダバオです。。。
Anyway, it's quite weird to think that Koreans and Japanese are enemies for a very long time...

The sentiment is generally waning in the younger generations...
