Japan Bookstores
Japan Bookstores
I will be going to Japan in April, and so wanting to buy lots of books etc so I don't have to pay Amazon.jp's rediculous postage costs. I particularly want to buy a few 完全マスター books and 2005's test paper. Will these be available in most bookstores, or are there only a few specific ones? In the Kyoto or Tokyo areas. Can anyone recommend any bookstores which have a great selection of things like this? Thank you.
RE: Japan Bookstores
Kinokuniya is a chain of bookstores that's everywhere. A good one is in the Sogo Department Store by the Yokohama trainstation.

My 完全マスター was Y1200. However, all the explanations are in Japanese of course. I've heard you can get it at Kinokuniya but haven't seen it myself.

a Barns and Noble bookstore will have a lot of japanese books.

You would think so, but in all actuallity, they really don't have much. In fact, in this case, you won't find anything the OP was looking for at any normal bookstore (in the US). That's why he was asking for some places to buy what he's looking for when he goes to Japan, and for that, my recommendation would have to be Kinokuniya.ashitaka wrote:
