Naruto ep 170, it's all over

They apparently changed the artists and the new artist is terrible. Everyones features seem malformed and chubby. Everyones face is too wide, lips too big, like a pumpkin. Arms just look to be oozing out of their shoulders.

Really sad too because it looks like the filler episodes are over and a new plotline is underway. But now everyone reminds me of a scarecrow with a pumpkin head.

Boo.

The new plotline is pretty good so far. The battle at the place of no return, which essentially ended the last plotline, was really great.

Yeah, I noticed the animation had been getting worse. I wasn't sure why until now though and I would definetly agree with you that the animation isn't anywhere as nice as before. Also I was glad to see they were finishing up with the fillers, I was starting to lose interest until these last episodes, but now im sucked right back in.

i allready lost interest like 20 episodes ago... havent seen it since ep 158. maybe im going to watch all the eps sometime when the fillers finaly are over, but hearing that the animation ect have gotten worst doesnt let me look forward to it...

Naruto's speech almost always ends with ..'dattebayo'..
now ... what exactly does that means?

'datte' means 'because'?
'yo' means 'seeking agreement'?

Is there anywhere on the web I can find the dialogues of Naruto episodes written out in Japanese?

I think 'Dattebayo' is a Tokyo version of 'yo' except that it is more informal and slightly stronger than the 'yo' used for emphasis. At least that's what I heard
