I'd use すこし rather than ちょっと in the first sentence, and I've never seen ものの used before; でも or けど are much more common. I'd phrase the first one:
にほんご　を　すこし　しっています、　でも　わたし　の　にほんご　が　わかります　か。
For the second, something like this (following an example on Space ALC):
わたし　は　ぶんぽう　と　たんご　で　くろう　します。

にほんご　が　すき　です　が、　アイアランドご　も　すき　です。

ギター　を　としひさしく　ひいて　います。

わたし　は　にほんご　を　しゅうがく　して　います。

Finally, your sig should be:
わたし　の　なまえ　は　ジェムズ　で、　アイアランドじん　です。
