Wow I'm happy for you! Japanese is very interesting so don't ever give up on learning it;)! I'm sure that you'll be releived to see how much easier Katakana is compared to hiragana (at least it was in my experience!). Also make sure to practice writing them specially the ones that aren't used much:).

Haha, kudos for learning that in three days. I've been learning it for maybe four months (including several slackoff periods). I had most of it memorized (so I thought) before, so I put off studying for a while. When I got back on studying, I realized I had forgotten most of it. I have now been studying it more frequently (like every 3 to 5 days) for about a month. I have most of them mastered again, but this time I make sure to review the ones I do know often in my spare time. I am now almost done with hiragana. So anyway, don't make my mistake. ;) Take everyone's advice and make sure to review your hiragana often.

Congrats! Keep working on them anyway. Write them a lot to remember stroke order too. When you will be learning kanji, strokes and order will be very important.

Funny, it is the exact opposite for me. Often I get wrong these:
? so
ン, n
シ, shi
ツ, tsu
I have to go back writing them... :|
