Chat Problems!

The text bar (the one for font color,size,etc.) just dissapeared.I really want to chat,but i could onlt do that in PM.I REALLY need help.

For those who for some reason dont understand....its the 'Chat' area....i always go there and this is the third time this problem occured.

if you press escape then the window closes. You have to click on the red? button to make the window unroll again.

The chat has messed up for me completely before. But when I changed my name from Daisuke to Dai it all worked fine in there. I don't know so much about the chat, but yes, it can cause some trouble sometimes.

Hopefully, it should reset after the cookie expires. You could also close it and reappear under a different name like Daisuke mentioned.

I feel I tried everything, including deleting the cookies, but it's been fine for me on the chat since I got my new computer.

Hello 皆さん... Sorry I disappeared from the boards lately, fact is I am spending quite much time in the chat. It's done wonders for my fluency and vocabulary, so a really BIG thanks for setting it up.
Plus, I met a lot of nice people there.

There are, however, indeed a lot of problems with that chat program... I know of many users (myself included) who get logged out of it even repeatedly at times. I've also had my browser (ehm... IE *coughs*;)) crashing a few times. I was wondering if it could perhaps be a server issue. Since I saw this thread, I thought I'd just briefly bring this up.

Anyway, though a slight nuisance, it doesn't change the fact that I'm really a chat enthusiast B) Once more, thank you TJP!!

There was even a case when I was there and a sudden disconnection, I made serveral attempts to log in again, but failed. The strange thing was that I could still see my name from outside ::o:D:D .... but that only happened once

I also use IE, I wonder if that's the problem..

I have not had any problems with the chat for months tho'.
