Comparative
Hello, all!
How do you form the comparative in Japanese? For example, if I wanted to say "This book is more interesting than that one" or something like that? Thanks a lot!

Tennis is more interestinng than baseball.

Oh, I see, thanks a lot. And what is the difference between the two ways? Is one more formal than the other?

RE: Comparative
Since it ends in です(desu), isn't that where the formal and informal come from? So だ would be an informal form of it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Technically, the desu is not necessary for true adjectives and da is never used with true adjectives. Noun adjectives can take da or desu.
