Japanese History
I was just wondering if anyone is interested but in my degree we have to learn the entire japanese history (not in huge depth but we still need to read around alot). As i already have loads of notes on the different periods would anyone like me to put up some notes on the forum so that everyone can read them. Then maybe people can highlight things that i have wrong or add parts i have missed, creating quite a concise collection. I will be beneficial to me and anyone else who wants to know the history of the country that they are studying.
I will start in the Palaeolithic period 30,000bp to 12,000bp, alothough not much happened apart from occasionally hitting things with stone clubs.
is this worth doing?

I think that its a shame that out of a site with over 10000 members, only one person is intersted in a quick history run down of Japan. Do people only really care about manga?
thats a surprise to me...

Maybe it's more like only one person could figure out what you were talking about in that first post. I had to read the first graph like four times before I understood what you were on about.
BTW, for the record, I am a Japanese historian, so I'm looking forward to it.

I doubt that matters. This thread is almost nine months old.

Has anyone else seen a trend of pointless thread-revivals?
Well, this one wasn't really *pointless*, but there are others...

RE: Japanese History
So is anyone gonna post somethin about Jp history here?
Ive learnt about Japan history, literature and psychology( but not the in depths thou! ) I also enjoy readin about Dr. Satoshi Kanazawa! If anyone like to share..
Hope my lil knowledge helps if anyone would like to know.
Anyway I kinda agree with WacKostRacKo!
Not many Japanese youngsters appreciate history/plolitics/literature these days. Or so I heard from my Japanese friend. They prefer manga and things which are not very educational.
