Here is my attempt. There is some new grammar that I didn't know. Thanks to richvh san for pointing it out. The story is getting interesting though.

When I tried to lower my hip at the toilet, my neighbor said "Ah! You ok?"

Poor fella, I think he is getting old. I hope his hip is ok

I don't know how to make the spoiler text, so here's my translation.

[spoiler]Sorry for using romaji, i just find it easier. anyway, what does "to shita" mean? Shouldn't it be "to itta", as iu means "to say"? I miht also be missing something, i have a kind of hard time dealing woth so many foreign letters at the same time [/spoiler]

2 days are up, Group B's turn. Here's my usual over-literal translation:

At the time that I was attempting to lower my hips onto the toilet, from next door came a voice going "Hey, are you healthy?"

My favored translation:

I don't have much to add here since it seems like pretty much the same sentence keeps trickling down the page... Anyway,

[spoiler] I tend to think of the "Yaa, Genki?" part as asking "Hey, you alright?" or "You OK?" instead of a generic conversation starter like "Hey, What's up" or "How ya doing" but that might be why I'm a B and not an A, ne...

One other point... I found the grammar hints from rich very useful and very interesting, but in this case I think the NO in "koega shita no" is different from the grammar point listed. I think it's a nominalizing NO, making the "~shitano + desu" construction possible.

In sum, what I get out of it is: "Just when I sat on the john a voice from next door asked "hey, you ok?"

At this point, I do have a question. If my translation of the "Yaa, Genki" thing is right, I'm wondering if the voice is instead of starting up a conversation wondering about the condition of the speaker since I thought we agreed on the earlier translation that the speaker is in a hurry and probably rushed into the bathroom to begin with, thus giving the guy in the adjacent stall something to be concerned about.[/spoiler]
