Now what?
Hi there,
I started learning Japanese a while ago and now I have mastered Hiragana and Katakana. I know how to pronounce them (translate them into Romaji) and when I see a text, written in Romaji, I can translate it into Hiragana and Katakana...
Now that I have mastered these, what is the best for me to do now? Should I start learning Kanji or should I first practise some basic grammar? Maybe it's a good idea to learn some vocabulary... I don't really know...
Kind regards.

RE: Now what?
As you will find in just about any of the many "What do I do next???" threads, I suggest going to http://www.guidetojapanese.org and starting with grammar. The reason is: (1) without grammar, your knowledge of the language is useless, and (2) learning vocabulary (and kanji) as you learn grammar is a very effective learning method (much better than just studying vocabulary).
