Comic Strip Translations

Postby dreamingxashley » Sat 04.02.2005 11:58 am

Would someone want to do a few translations for me of a comic strip? All the dialogues are in Hiragana, so you dont have to worry about trying to find numerous kanji. ^^; You dont need to do the sound effects, since I can figure those out myself.

I'll post the links to the images in a bit. ^_^

Ok, heres the first one. The comic is called Habanero-tan ("tan" being the child's slurred way of saying chan). All the characters are peppers (except Big-sis it seems) given female form, they are the unofficial mascots of this Japanese chip company that makes mostly spicey chips... or so Im lead to believe. The comic itself doesnt have any nudity or anything like that, so I think its safe to post on here... it does have a lot of "potty humour" though. hehe

Main Characters are:
Habanero-tan
Big-sis
Milk-san
Jalapeno-chan

I think theres one more, somewhere but Im not sure...

Images removed because I have the translations now. :)

Heres the link to the author's site, its mostly in japanese, but you can pretty much find your way around with a bit of guess work. ^^

Here's the last one, since Im not sure how well other people on this forum take to yuri, I will simply place a link here (it's work safe).

I dont expect anyone thats translating this for me (if they do), to photoshop the text onto the strips, posting the translations will be good enough. ^_^

Domo origato in advance!

Just a note, these pics can all be found at the authors site, so its not like they were scanned in from a manga or something... ;)

My Hiragana is still bad! Wish I could help! Did you want it translated into english or something?

I can only make out what the little red-headed girl in the first strip is saying...although most of you guys can probably understand it. For those of you who may not know though, she's saying おはよ, or ohayo, which is good morning. The rest of it is just names that I can't make out or sound effects. Sorry. :(

I have some problems with my kobo-chan comics. I can't tell what they are saying. So I have to skip those parts.

The author has posted his own English translations.

They're here, here, here and here.

Already have all the translated versions, thanks for the last link to the strips I needed translated. :)

Oh, and I still need the one translated, that is hidden behind the link... if anyone wants to test their Japanese knowledge. :)
