That is the kanji for 'ki'. It may not look EXACTLY like it but that is the kanji for 'tree'(ki). A kanji can usually be formed in different ways but still look somewhat like how its supposed to be. Kind of like how people do their A's differently.
So mainly if the kanji resembles another kanji that you know, than its probably it.

Heres an example of what I mean:

Hmm, anyways, Im pretty surprised anyone would have that as a tatoo O_O;;

Yeah, lol, I figured that out. The buttons really shouldnt be so close together. I'll be more careful next time. Thats like the 2nd or 3rd time thats happened...
