Language Bar help

Ok, I think this is how it's done. I went to Details, and added everything. Microsoft IME Standard 2002 ver 8.1, Japanese, and Microsoft Natural Input 2002 ver 8.1. I have the check box for the East Asian languages. So, I go to Advanced, click the arrow drop-down box thing, click on Japanese, and apply. I restart the computer. Then I go to Details, click on IME Standard 2002 ver 8.1, apply. And..no language bar. x_x Can anyone please help me?

And yes, I have Microsoft XP.

On the details screen click on the Language Bar button. I have "Show the Language Bar on the Desktop" and "Show Text Labels on the Language Bar" checked.

Ok, so how do you get the Language Bar in English? XD The tutorial's pictures have it in English, how'd they do that? Thanks.

On the details screen, set your default input language to English. (I think that will do it; I know when I switched that back, the date display went back to English.)

No, I did that and it got rid of the Language Bar itself. I know how to switch to Romanji and katakana and hiragana. Don't know how to do kanji, though, or anything else.

While the kana are in white, hit space a couple of times, and you'll be able to choose the kanji to display. Read this page again.
