Full Metal Alchemist...
Title: Hagane no Renkinjutsushi
As for AVATAR the airbender...it's not "anime" so anything I would tell you would just be a guess.
Avatar is one of the "New wave" of western animated cartoons that mimics Japanese Anime. Even though they may have Japanese people who help design or write them they are not true "ANIME" because they were not made for Japanese consumption...
If you look closely at most animated cartoons though, you will notice that almost ALL of them are actually animated in Korea....(This includes Japanese anime, Disney channel, etc.etc.). Very few are actually animated in the country they are intended to be seen in.

Sometimes they have some Kanji written out through the show and the characters are used in the Classical Chinese format. Thus Chinese!
Would be cool to see it in Japanese though wouldn't it?;)

Anyway here is a little info on Avatar:
Avatar: The Last Airbender (titled Avatar: The Legend Of Aang in the UK) is an American animated television series airing on Nickelodeon since February 21, 2005. Produced at Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, California, and animated in South Korea, it was co-created and executive produced by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko (the latter of whom also serves as art director and character designer).
Guess this music video.
