Study Group Feedback
Study Group Feedback
Hey guys!
This is your friendly, neighborhood admin for the study group. I know I've been gone awhile but I had a real life situation to deal with. Anyway, I'm back now, so feel free to ask me any questions. I'd really hate for lona to be bombarded with so many questions.
Now, getting down to business, I'd like to know how everyone feels about the Study Group. Do you guys think its helping you? Are the lessons too difficult? Is there anything you need help with and would like to see lessons for? And remember, just because we haven't covered a particular topic now doesn't mean we won't cover it later.
I want you guys to also remember to use the forums here if you have any questions about the lesson. Remember, lona, Daisuke, and I aren't the all-knowing, experts on Japanese language. So use the forums and help each other out with any problems you may have. And of course, we'll do our best to answer your questions.
So, tell me what you guys think of the Study Group. You can either reply to this message or send me a PM.

RE: Study Group Feedback
I'm thinking about joining but I think you guys are too far ahead of me. I'm still working on learning hiragana.

You can still use our old lessons. They are posted at our website: http://www.geocities.com/thejapanesestudygroup/

Come on guys, I know there are more of you than that in the study group. Here's your chance to let us know how we're doing and what you want to see on the group and need help with.

I think the study group is awesome! The lessons are lade out so well. They are so informative. I just want more!
With me its hard for me just to study anything. But with the group its like i have a goal and a path to follow. motivation. (wow! that was deep) I just wanted to say thanks!

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

I agree with GMK. I like the way the lessons are laid out. These will prove very helpful. I appreciate the help and the time you put into these. Thanks Guys

I'm glad we'll be learning in hirigana and katagana and NOT romanji. So many sites use romanji and when you're restristed to free learning it isn't as good.
I'm in the same boat. join anyway and just try to learn hirigana as quickly as you can. Do the lessons in 3-4 days instead of a week and you'll be caught up soon enough.Kei wrote:

The lessons seem really good so far. They're not really applicable to me, as I'm a bit ahead, but any chance to review the basics is still useful, I guess. The beginners seems to find it useful, so tops on ya.
