1000 Views only 23 posts

why is it that this forum will have up to 90 views, yet only have about 7-9 posts? i dont understand it... can someone like an admin or mod please tell me?

Yes, many lurkers. As you may have noticed, there are usually a dozen or two guests on here at once that aren't registered as users. I'm sure many of them browse around the site and view a bunch of the threads (I had a few looks around myself before making an account).

Many people register to this site, but do not post very much. They just read through the forums, to learn from what other members talk about. Or they use the lessons on the site, etc.

It is like that on many boards, depending on what the board is about. It is just particularly many who does it here.

You might also notice that the majority of users on this forum do not live in Japan nor have a very high level of Japanese proficiency... Therefore, they can't contribute very much to some threads! But of course they still have interest in what the thread says for those same reasons.

there are also the rehashes of the same old questions. Some people just don't want to step forward and answer the question, or the people might not know the answer, or they might be shy.,,,

Maybe there should be two view sections instead of saying views and replies, becuase I've noticed that too.. 100 views 2 replies, Maybe there should be Guest views and member views.. Just a suggestion..
