JLPT Study Guides Question

Hello all, my question is about the actual study guides for the JLPT sold at the shop. I was wondering if they actually contained english explanations or answers in them, or if it was simply the tests/questions and answers in Japanese. I'm looking for grammar study guides for level 3 and up, but not just examples of grammar, rather explanations and such in english. I've completed the Busy People set of textbooks and was looking for something more along those lines, but higher level. If the JLPT study guides are indeed just questions/answers, does anyone have any recommendations about higher level grammar books with english explanations?
