Yes, but you are doing it in a wrong thread.
RE: Inuyasha's Tetsaiga
Yes, the Tessaiga was forged from InuYasha's father's fang. The sword was crafted by Totosai, who also crafted the Tenseiga for
Sesshomaru. As far as the spelling, This was taken from Wikipedia:
In the English adaptations of InuYasha, Tessaiga is called Tetsusaiga (or Tetsaiga) due to an error in translation in the early days of the manga when the tiny っ (tsu) kana (which indicates a glottal stop, or a doubling of the consonant that follows it) was misread as a full-sized つ (tsu) kana, altering the romanization and pronunciation of the word. Both Tetsusaiga and Tessaiga can come from the kanji; the proper spelling depends on how the name is pronounced. The proper romanization is Tessaiga. By the time Viz, the company that translates the anime and manga, had realized the error it was too late.
Oh and btw, if anyone tells you that KiLALA is pronounced KiRARA smack them. Everyone knows the japanese RA hiragana sounds
like LA. And if you dont believe me, watch Inuyasha in japanese, and
sango says Kilala. Ill calm down now

Feel free to smack me then. the "l-r" noise is "r" in romaji. And I think that Sango just has a good accent, because she says the Japanese stuff okay too, they had that episode with Kagome singing in a choir and acting and stuff? Sango said Japanese stuff in that episode and she said it okay (I think, lol).jinksys wrote:

And Tessaiga? What? How would you even write that? Two s's? I trust my manga, and my limited knowlege of Japanese more than you, thanks...

Sounds stupid with an american accent, sure. But Kilala looks like someone who knows nothing about romaji wrote it.ben wrote:
