おはよございます!!
Is kanji only used for nouns or can they be other parts of speech?
Also, are words written in kanji pronounced different from hiragana?

RE: Kanji Question
Kanji can be used for other parts of speech (like nani which means what).
The kanji and the hiragana are the same sounds. Hiragana is all the phoetonics for Japanese, and kanji is the main writing system. Hiragana is used only for endings on kanji and a few words that have no kanji.
