Hey I have a quick query. Why does it say there are new messages in a forum even after you have read it? Is there anyway to change this because it can be a bit hard to know which ones you've read and which you haven't.
Does anyone else have this problem?
ありがとう。:)

RE: unread messages
it's based on a delayed time since last visit calculation. it doesn't actually keep track of which articles you've read or not (that would be alot of data to keep track of). the reason for the delay is this:
you visit after being away for a day or so and you click on the first new article.
you read the article and go back to the forum. but now since your last visit is only a minute or so ago, there are no more new articles.
so there's a delay of like 15 or 30 minutes or something like that. that gives you enough time to go back and forth and read all of the new articles since your last visit.
you could use a browser that supports tabs and just open all the new articles you want to read in new tabs, then when you're out of tabs you're done reading.
