but first, am sorry about how this thread started, i made a mistake and started this thread as (no subject) sorry!:(

okay back to business, now what am talking about isnt called "font art", i couldnt find out its name so if you come up with a good one, tell me.

what i call font art (which might be a bad name) is the process of using letters or characters to make images or drawings like this simple one bellow.

While I respect redfoxer's position as an administrator, I wouldn't agree with the opinion that AA has no relevance here. AA / Shift-JIS Art has a passionate following by many posters to Japanese forums such as 2ch, so I fail to see how EVN's topic is irrelevant clutter, especially in the Off Topic forum. If anything, an informal AA competition using the expanded Shift-JIS characters should be a fun exercise both in Japanese net culture and in becoming more familiar with kana and kanji.

Nikoniko1975. Ebua Valentine Nrialike posted a thread called no topic. all he said in his post was hehe, that's why redfoxer warned him. Ebua Valentine Nrialike edited his thread and changed the topic to Font art.

I assumed that something was edited out of the original post, but didn't realize that a whole topic was edited into it where none existed previously.

I believe you are referring to ascii art. Where you use letter, numbers, and symbols to create pictures. Its still called ascii art even though you can use whatever text encoding you want, (unicode, ascii, etc)

BTW, the forum will fuggle-up your art if it contains spaces, so replace the spaces with another character (you can do it easily in notepad) and use the [ code ] bbcode so it uses a good font.

also, this site defaults to shift_jis encoding so your art can look odd. changing to a better encoding (cough unicode cough) will correct the problem.
