A little help?

I'm trying to write a letter for a crush of mine...But it's a little hard writing it. Could anyone tell me if I'm doing this right so far? (And if you can, can you help me figure out how to translate lines 2, 3 and 5? Or give me some links to some TJP articles that could help?)

English:
1. They say you're not allowed to love me...
2. Only because I'm too young.
3. But it's hard to not love you.
4. Please can you love me?
5. I promise to try to be mature enough for you.
6. Please give me a chance.
7. I love you more than life.
8. I must win your heart.
9. What do you say?
10. Can you love me, Josh?

Josh = The guy I like. *Blush*

Japanese:
1. Watashi o ai shite ikemasen sou desu...
2. ? ? ?
3. ? ? ?
4. Watashi o chikazurareru kudasai ka?
5. ? ? ?
6. Kouki o kudasai.
7. Watashi wa anata o no hou go, (life*) yori daisuki
8. Kokoro no anata katsu wa shinakereba narimasen.
9. Nani shite iu?
10. Watashi o chikazurareru ka, Joshu-kun?

* = What's the japanese word for "life"?

4 and 10, I suspect that what you've written as "chikakurareru" should be "chikaku nareru"; in 4 it should be in -te form (narete) and "kudasai ka" should be "kudasaimasen ka"; in 10, don't use "ka" after plain form verbs, as it sounds like an interrogation, so "nareru no" or "naremasu ka" would be better (but since you started off with desu/masu form, you should stick with that.)

8: Anata no kokoro o katanakereba narimasen.
7: Watashi wa anata no koto no hou ga jinmei yori daisuki desu.

My overall advice: write your love letters in English, at least until both you and your boyfriend are much better at Japanese, so you don't have a bunch of virtual strangers peering into your private life.

That's so freaking cool how people are so good with Japanese and can just do stuff like that, it takes me hours just to write out a sentence because I forget like almost everything. @_@

I don't think Tony has posted in this thread, I think hyperconjugated is implying that Tony is the Josh the OP is writing to.

I agree with rich, stick to English or whatever language you speak fluently so you know what your saying For all you know, Rich could be writing the opposite for you. (I'm joking, but it's better to know what your saying all the time)

"Jinsei" is the Japanese word for life.

e.g.

"Sore ga jinsei da"

(That's life)
