Japanese school's gakusa
hello^^nice to meet you all. well im new to this site. forgive my typeing. its not the best. well anyway back to my question. I was wondering if anyone could give me some info about the annual fesitvals they have in japan, like the cultural festivals and Athletic meet or i think its call sports day. ^^im just wondeing if anyone could share any of their expierence if they atennd these fesitvals or if they know something about it^^ thanks alot. oh^^yea.if anywould be able to share photos of festivals that would be great^^

I dunno much, but a penpal of mine says that she has a field day on the 15th (tomorrow). Maybe this is some sort of annual thing in Japan?

I think they celebrate new years and valentines day.
I found one on the net called Seijin No Hi -- Coming of Age Day (January 8th)
Where girls that have legally become adults (20 years) are given gifts and stuff.
