I am sitting here prettymuch pee'ing myself laughing at jinksys's posts. Jinksys, you're hilarious
Do it! Aaahaha. And if you do, you just have to post the link here XD!
Anyway, Ninjutsu and whatever else is all well and good. I mean, I like it as much as the next person, but let's face it. If you're facing someone with one of these...
...you're screwed.

i tried to find a ninjutsu school here in the USA but i live to far away from an oficail dojo and when i went to an unoficial one it was just a 40-50 year old living in his moms basement wearing a black bathing robe runing around screaming and making "hiya" sounds and throwing cardboard cutouts of shurikens.
That went on for about 30 minutes and i videotaped it all. i might put the video on the web and post a link.

i think its pretty useless to discus what fighing style or what not is better since there is no "this is better than that" since everyone who does something different says his is the best

That is why I train in Hojutsu-ryu... Close-combat handgun and integrated ground fighting. I would love to see all the Aikido and Karate fanatics hold up against even a decent wrestler or submission fighter.
I threw down with only a handfull of karate and Aikido guys in Japan, but there wasn't a single one that could do anything from the ground, or stop from getting there.
Rear-naked choke anyone...

[sarcasm] Yeah, That sounds like a good idea [/sarcasm]
I don't know whether to say thanks or darn you. So...I'll say thank you. XD;;
And Oyaji: Did you not read my whole post or are you just commenting on people who do say that? I didn't mean it: I know that in actuality there is 1) more than one Buddha and 2) Sidhartha Gautama was actually quite skinny because he fasted and felt no need for food. <o<
I....should stop posting before this gets even more off-topic and used....;o;

i was just joshin' ya. It was a poor, shochu-induced, attempt at irony.

If you want to learn the truth about ninjas, then you should read this book.
Buy this book, along with the trainers on surviving a zombie attack and a robot uprising, and you'll be ready for any eventuality!

I am still trying to figure out which military trains using ninjutsu.. having been in the special forces and cross training with navy seals, air force combat controllers, marine recon, with the rangers and delta force i can tell you for a fact they don't. the military, at least the US military uses a combination of many forms of martial arts.. none of them pretty and all of them used for very close in your grill fighting.. i would equate them more to shorenji kempo than any other art..
now, i didn't train every soldier and didn't train with every soldier, but from my experience there aren't many other soldiers that could or would know this.. and don't talk about black ops soldiers, they train just as the other guys do. they just train in smaller groups..
