I'm a high school student. Living off the allowance, having a steady warm place to return to. But the times are gonna change - I'm aging quickier than I'd ever think.

I'm a highschool student, but I live off the money I make at my fastfood job and the money I get from giving sax lessons and playing gigs. :)

Highschool student (year 10) - I think it's the equivalent of sophomore year in the USA school system. We only have primary & high school here, it's much less confusing. :P

Also; I have a part-time job at... you guessed it, McDonalds. B)

Unfortunately, I'm a security guard currently. Not a bad deal though. I mean, I'm at work right now. It's boring sometimes, but it allows me plenty of time to surf the web and study 日本語. I ended up here by dropping out of my BA Phil. Let that be a lesson for you all.

I plan on making a break for 日本 fore long though.

that's cool.
Hey defrex, I should probably show one of my friends your job post. He's going to going to college wanting to study all sorts of vague fields for work but is not really sure what he wants to do.

Right know I'm what they call a Roust-about in an oil field in west texas owned by a company called Kinder-Morgan. It's hard work in an average of 100 degree weather. (really sucks:|) but it pays at about $10.50 an hour. Not bad for a summer job for a high school graduate (I think;)) work hours are from 7a.m. to 4 p.m. with an hour lunch starting at 11:30. Time to study nihongo has become a little hard to come by.
