死ねる means "can die" and 読める means "can read" they are potential forms of the verbs 死ぬ and 読む. You can find a more lengthy explination in the grammer section.

These are volitional form verbs in plain form, which translates to 'let's/shall we?' some of the time. My textbook explains volition as meaning 'exercising one's will' which makes it easier to understand another translation volitional verbs as meaning 'I'll...'

e.g.

konban piza o tabeyou.
Let's eat pizza tonight.

oshiete ageyou.
I'll show you how to do it [teach].

shashin o miseyouka.
Shall I/Would you like me to show you the photos?

Actually, those are all eru/iru verbs, which is different. Some 'regular' verbs (I call them Group 2 verbs but most people don't) in plain volitional are:
araou (wash)
kaou (buy)
nomou (drink)
kakou (write)
