If you are talking about Bit Torrent; its a Peer to Peer file sharing network.

BitTorrent isn't illegal! 99.9999999% of the torrents are !! BitTorrent is just a download app. so thats not illegal and if this Pimsleur put the torrent on the internet himself, its completely legal.

I'm pretty sure Pimsleur didn't volounteer to put them up as they charge over $300 per set. So all three is retail over $1000.

those links are no good for site admins as they can be charged for this so i would remove it as fast as possible.


Sometimes its scary how normal it became to download illegal stuff.

It depends really in which country you
live in since the legislature can differ
greatly country by country. However
it's better to be safe than sorry and
since Clay's server lies on American
soil and this is his website the
laws of US apply, right?

For perspective, in many European
Union countries the legisture allows
or allowed to download for personal
use material that is copyrighted and
it's not illegal(might have changed),
while sharing copyrighted material
was of course illegal. This permits
for example sharing demos of games
and other non copyrighted material
while downloading Pimpslap's Japanese
1/2/3 for personal use.
