Do you have a translation question?

this keeps on coming up, i'm reading it as "tsukiau tsute" which is something like "connection with", i just wanted an accurate translation of this, am i reading this right?

Well, all I can make out of it is "Connection". You might be right.

'tsukiau' means to go out with someone/ be dating someone

Tsute means "connection."

Tsukiau means "to associate, to company."

Putting the 2 together? I have no idea.

Are you sure what you're reading isn't 付き合うって[tsukiau tte] or 付き合って? Because with the little つ it's totally different.

I figure either way it means "to date" (still literally attach+meet).
